It's a New Year for our Valued Business Sponsorships:

We've been supporting our students for 40+ years - but we don't do it alone! Local business sponsors are hugely important as they help us fund the gaps between what our students need and what the state can't provide.

Up Close and Personal with the Booster Board
Gina Panelli and Family
Gina Panelli - Treasurer

Gina Panelli has been an active member of SVHS Boosters since 2018 and is the current Treasurer of the club. Gina is an alumni of SVHS and comes from a long line of SVHS alumni starting with her great grandmother, which makes her two daughters, class of 2015 and class of 2022, fifth generation Dragons! She became a member of Boosters because she knew she wanted to be connected to the school in a way that could support the students above and beyond what is provided academically. She has seen how big of an impact extracurricular activities like student-led clubs and sports made on her kids and wants to ensure these activities continue and grow. Gina encourages anyone who wants to know more about Boosters to reach out and ask questions. Every one of us is eager to share how rewarding it is to give to our SVHS students.

Terry Matheson
Terri Mathison - Vice President

Terry Mathison, this year's SVHS Boosters Club Vice President, is the parent of a son who is currently a Junior at SVHS. She became a member of the Boosters in 2018 when her son was a Freshman, then went to her first Board meeting and knew that she would be involved with the club in some way. From working at Snack Bars, to registering new members at Back-to-School Night, to setting up at the Crab Feed - Terry finds volunteering incredibly rewarding because the Boosters Club makes things happen for the students. "The camaraderie is great on the Boosters Board! Even in the pandemic, we have found ways to have Covid-safe, fun, productive meetings. It feels good to have a team around you pulling together for a common goal. I love working with this group!"
